It is a privilege to serve as Deputy Director of the Centre for Education, Research and Development. CERD’s journey over the past 23 years has been one of resilience, vision, and unwavering commitment to spreading education in the rural and remote regions of Bengal. Today, we stand as a testament to what collective effort and dedication can achieve.

My focus as Deputy Director is to strengthen the bridge between education and research. We aim to empower young minds with the tools they need to think critically, innovate boldly, and contribute meaningfully to society. CERD is deeply committed to supporting researchers, whether they come from our local communities or from beyond, by providing guidance, infrastructure, and collaborative platforms to help them succeed.
